+15 Internets | I called it in one of the threads about it ![]() Edwards and Obama were retarded for pulling out... why take your name off the ballot? There's nothing to be gained from it and you face exactly the risk that they get their delegates back. (given those rather brutal sanctions, not so unlikely) |

It makes me sick that there are people in this country retarded enough to vote for them (the clintons). Its like the fuckers who voted for bush in 2004. | |

| People have been talking about this for awhile. Michigan and Florida are two key states for the Democrats - they're not going to want to piss off their party activists in those states by shutting them out of the convention, so odds are they'll seat the delegates. The Clintons were smart enough to figure this out. If Obama should get the nomination, I imagine he'll regret giving Michigan a big "fuck you" in the primaries, as he'll need to work that state hard for the general election.

| I just wish more Michigan voters had realized that and not voted for Hillary just because she was the only big name left on the ballot. At least not all the delegates are locked in to voting for her, if they do end up getting seated. |

| saying you are gonna not seat them then changing your mind later after the election is already over would be about the most shady thing i have ever seen in politics. And the dems cried that bush '00 in florida was bad lawl. |

| From what was being said before the Primary, the Uncomitted delegates are just that, uncommitted. They still are part of the process, just not tied to one particular candidate. Unfortunately that still leaves them the option of voting for Hillary, but at least them having the option of voting for Obama or Edwards if the Michigan delegates are seated is better than nothing I guess. As disgusted as I am with the national Democratic Party machine for pandering to Iowa & New Hampshire, I'm even more disgusted and angry with the leaders of the Michigan Democratic Party for fucking things up like this in this particular election cycle. |

| I'm pretty sure either 41 or 51% of the michigan votes were for "undecided." I'm willing to bet both Edwards and Obama would have done very well had they been on the poll here.
