Clinton Quits Race

Clinton's Historic Bid Falls Short

Tupac feels the time is now right, and heaven sent.

Obama is also completely expected to win the standard, fair way through nominations and she said she won't concede, even then. Way to lose with grace there, baby, I just feel those leadership qualities in you we're sorry we had to lose.

About freakin' time.

Now let's see if the damage she's done to Obama is irreparable or not.

When I was 8 years old playing t-ball and we lost, I shook the hand of every player on the other team, told them "good game" and meant it. Even at that age I understood if they won, they practiced harder, wanted it more, or we were not just playing A game.

Never understood why that was so difficult for some people.

Im someone who intentionally tries to avoid most political matters. So i have no hard preferences in party or individual. But i for some reason just despise that lady. From her body language to word selection to her "logic". Doesn't she hire professionals to craft her image?

I'm glad she didn't actually drag this to convention the way people said she would. The writing's been on the wall for a long time here. Part of me understands why she stayed in as long as she did. The other part of me quotes the above.

Well then I thought of something to me that might make you smile. A couple of days from now she'll be helping clean up the campaign headquarters for the last time, she'll agree to lock up when she leaves, and as she's throwing that bolt for the last time, she will immediately have the horrible revelation that heading home to Bill is her only option for the rest of her life.

In the words of Bart Simpson "If you pause it just right, you can actually SEE the moment that heart rips in half!"

Man I'm in a good mood now.

Quick, somebody FAIL this up:

A good response to said letter would be "Your path now involves the domestic, homebody life, with your man. You know, that cheating, pot-smoking draft dodger. You remember, he got to be president? And word of advice, my grandma tells me if you get 3 of the big Sunday papers, you can keep yourself busy clipping coupons long until noon rolls around, when you can begin getting sauced and feel a little better about it. On certain Sundays, when you have to appear at like Sizzler opening's and shit, you might to chill on that, though."

Love,

-America

P.S. From this point on, we don't want to see you run or nominate for ANYTHING. We better not even catch you next to the emergency exit on airplanes. No neighborhood watch, flood leader, PTA member, anything. At no point, from now on, do we ever want to see you in a position where your permission or consent is required for something. Someone asking to pee at your house is auto-fail.

Domestic homebody? Clipping coupons? You do know she's still a senator right?

We shall see,

The Democratic party is pretty split to the point many Hillary supporters plan on voting for Mcain. But, due to the disaster which is George Bush many people don't want to vote republican. I'd say it's pretty up in the air right now... so whose the communist party candidate I can toss my vote away too?

Anyone? Grobbee?

I see Obama as scum who is just telling people what they want to hear. Hope is not a strategy... shit just look at how much of a fuck up Duval Patrick is in MA, thats exactly how Obama will be with the country. I mean , he hasn't done jack shit as a Senator. Why can we expect him to do anymore as the President?

Mccain is just too goddam old. I need to know who his VP is first since that will be our president in a year or two if he wins.

Roffle, the campaign is not only 20 million in debt but also she has tons of unpaid bills to vendors in different states.

Salshun you have lost your mind.

Despite Clinton's shoddy campaigning, I think McCain has a strong shot at winning now. The people who voted for Obama would probably have voted for Clinton just to avoid voting for McCain. But it seems clear that many of the Clinton supporters will vote for McCain just to avoid voting for Obama. I voted for Obama in my primary, but I am pretty torn now. He is just so damn socially liberal, and I don't buy into that. On the other hand, I don't support staying in Iraq. Obama is a great speaker though, and we just haven't had anyone of this charismatic caliber in a long ass time. That and the history making, barrier breaking nature of electing him give me an emotional soft spot for the guy.

Oh no, don't put words in my mouth, I never once supported Obama, I just didn't like her. Now, regardless of right/wrong, or what's fair, and the whole world can play the race card until the cows come home, it isn't changing shit. McGain WILL be our next president. It's kind of dickish and short-sighted, but I heard it like this on the radio the other day: "American's are comfortable with a white guy president. It's familiar. We know what to expect, what they'll pull, and their limits. We're scared to change that formula and risk 'well as bad as this is, the devil you know...'".

Well the second part of the post wasn't directed at you. Just the one line. You seem to be a bit over the edge on your assertions about Clinton. This is a huge event but she isn't going anywhere.

Honestly while I'm happy Clinton will be conceding I dont understand people's surprise that she did not do it on 6/3.

Even though Hillary lost, the fact remains that she got ~18 million votes (funky math and all) and in the past 3 months managed to some how become to voice of white working class democrats and women.

At the start of this there was a ho-hum attitude that Hillary had the only real shot at the nomination by the end she would have what many would call a rabid fan base. You dont step aside from championing a people and from now on Hillary will ask what her supporters want and try to maintain a high profile as someone who does support Obama but at the same time does have sway over a large clear distinct group of the party and will claim the power that affords her.
