That is a lot of assumptions, and a lot of trust in people who really don't seem to be worthy of it, but, there it is.
If I recall correctly it wasn't just that FL and MI broke the rules but were also warned not to do so.

MI and FL both asked the DNC before they made their move and the DNC warned them not to do it or else they would face consequences. As we know now they did it anyway.

It's one thing to break the rules but to ask if you can break them, be told no, then do it anyway? Of course the DNC had to come down on them hard.

More the reason why we need to keep the electoral college more than ever.

The fact that people keep saying some states matter and some states don't are stupid. To prevent that mentality is exactly why the electoral college was put in place in the first place. Go ask Al Gore and John Kerry if West Virginia "mattered".

Yeah, I can agree with this, except that these were paid for my tax payer dollars included. But if the democrat party wants to shit on their voters from two states, they can be my guest heh.

Man. The one time a primary mattered in West Virginia, and I didn't get around to voting. Clinton won anyway.

West Virginia certainly lived up to its image: the whitest and least-educated state.

If any national election ever hinges on West Virginia, this country is in a bad place.

The paradox is that in West Virginia we have two Democratic senators and a Democratic governor. When it comes to presidents, West Virginians tend to vote for the most convincing southern retard on the ticket. Clinton is remembered fondly here.

Obama campaigning hard here would be like Hillary going hard for South Carolina, I agree.

Well I'm in Florida and I don't think the votes should count without a do-over of the whole thing, which just isn't going to happen. They barely campaigned here, and Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan. If the latinos don't vote for Obama in the general we'll all get what they deserve so I'll just hope they help send McCain packing.

Is West Virginia an indicator that more whites just aren't going to vote for Obama in the future after the reverend wright incident?

A guy here in my office was a big Obama supporter (white guy) but after the reverend Wright shit came out he jumped off. He has a master's in engineering from Rice University, not the uneducated bible thumpers typical of West Virginia...

I hope it's an indicator anyway, fuck Obama and all his democrat bullshit.

Did you seriously just hope that West Virginia is the representation of the "white race"?

Holy fuck.

its bad reasoning, if something negative comes out about Obama like the nonsense with his pastor it doesnt make Hilarity look any better, she has a fuckton of baggage. why do you think Limbaugh wants her on the ballot instead of Obama? the RNC has a mountain of shit waiting to unleash if she had won. All they got on Obama is he knew some bomber when he was 8 years old and his preacher is an asshole. big whoop.

Khorum seems to think the whole Rezko shit is gonna amount to something.

I'm not pushing to make Hilary look better, just McCain to have an easier time winning the general election.

I wish NC (my state) had voted for Hilary. GD dumbass liberals can't even vote for the liberal to keep our red state in supply of red presidents... That's what ya get for 49th in education though...

You can't make that assumption with West Virginia alone since it is predominately blue collar. Oregon's primary is coming up and that will be more telling if Obama's educated white base is shifting away or not; I honestly don't think it is, he should win in Oregon easily. Also it should be said that uneducated and religious are not mutually exclusive. I think Wright's comments mean little in more liberal areas.

As a white guy, I hereby denounce anyone trying to represent me from West Virginia.

I'm from New Jersey, nothing about WV has anything in common with me and my way of life.
