Pastors are typically given their houses through tithing or donations from members of the church. Rarely ever do I see a pastor "struggling" to make it by, even in the lowliest of churches in the inner city, or in rural America.

People take their faith seriously, and they look after their pastor.

They were taken out of context for political purposes but Wright turned out to be a true nut like most religious figures who make a lot of money. Regular Priests and Pastors are not in it for money so they do not engage in such hyperbole.

Wright is a manufactured issue. If it had not been Wright, it would have been another manufactured issue. They are trying to build an issue with Bill Ayers because he lives in Obama's neighborhood. It remains to be seen if that sticks. Obama is from Chicago. Louis Farrakhan lives in Chicago. Therefore, that could be a "major issue" also. That is how these things work. It takes time to manufacture these issues so that is why if Hillary gets the nomination they will not have time to build something up since their only focus is Obama.
