| My skin is white, so in my eyes Wright is the bad cop and Obama is the good cop. All the black separatists in my hood told me that it's all just a carefully orchestrated and choreographed song and dance designed to trick whitey into putting their man BHO into the Hizzzouse. |

| That's not fair tool. You're misrepresenting the facts. You forgot to mention how him being a secret Muslim fits into his plan to take over the world.

| It's kind of neat to watch the wheels slowly fall off the Obama campaign, especially as more information is revealed about him, and more people move past the initial "high" of his oratory skills and actually start trying to understand what kind of president he would be. I still think he will get the nod, and will probably (though not definately) win the general, but it's not going to be the inevitable / landslide that so many believed (and still do believe) is coming. It's cute that alot of people want to blame HRC and her team for "ruining Obama's veneer" but the simple truth is, the media actually started asking questions, and broaching subjects that were not catered to making him look good. Clinton may not win this election (probably not, almost definately) but I can say pretty confidently that the media has gone a long way toward making up for the "election engineering project" they had undertaken with respect to the dismantling of the Clinton machine and the building of the Obama one. I personally know several, hard HARD core supporters of Obama, who while they are still voting for him, are incredibly disappointed over these revelations on Ayers and Wright etc. Most of them feel like Obama was not very upfront about those issues but more importantly, his smug handling of the same, and his visible disdain for any question or forum that doesnt paint him in a heavenly glowing light. It's still not too late to change course ![]()

| This is what happens when the campaign for President goes on for 14 months. Seriously, how can anyone stand the bullshit that has been spewed for the next 6 months? Why must the election cycle take so fucking long, all it does is make it so that Obama will have to start campaigning for his second term as soon as he is sworn in. It's what Representitives do really. We need to change the time between Primaries and Generals to 1 month. If you cant figure out who you are voting for in 1 month, then dont vote for the love of god.

(the media-fest is all about the democrats. No point in throwing in McCain in there, as the media-fest isn't about him. If this were two white democrat men and the race was still this close, I wager the media circus would be the same) | |

| One of her supporters, Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds (professor of Howard University School of Divinity) was mentioned on stage as the person "who organized this event." She is also a bigtime booster for the Clinton campaign who wrote in her blog in February, "My vote for Hillary in the Maryland primary was my way of saying thank you." I think the conspiracy theory that Obama was behind it can be put to rest. Also, I think labeling this as a blow or gain for Obama is premature - that will largely depend upon how Obama and the media spin it. This is the two of them (Wright and Reynolds) on stage at the Press Event: Last edited by Mimirswell : 04-29-2008 at 07:58 PM. |

| I say Hillary, Obama, and Wright are all in on it and got DNC approval for this. Because the only thing that can generate more attention than old crooked white Republicans waving flag pins, is a old crazy black evangelist. I submit the massive turnout of newly registered Democrats this year as proof.
