If you've got 30 seconds on the air, tell me about something you do better than her. Not about "hope". I don't give a fuck about hope. What does that even tell me? Do you really think anybody planning to vote doesn't actually know both candidates names at this point?

| Pride Never Die | Well there really aren't any positions that they hugely differ on. They mostly agree on everything with very small differences between the two. Healthcare is about the only the big one...Mandatory or Opt In/Out. The big one for me is Obama is for Net Neutrality and Hillary evades the question(so prolly no) every time she's asked at least from what I've read and Obama isn't going to put that in an ad unless it's airing in Silicon Valley and that's maybe a stretch. It just comes down too who you like better on personality to me, imo. Which Obama has in spades to me at least. New CNN Poll: Obama 50 Hillary 46 Poll: It's all tied up for Dems in Texas - CNN.com

| Also Obama's favorite tv show is The Wire. Game. Set. Match. "Among the one-third of Texas Democratic primary voters who watched all or most of the debate, Obama leads Clinton by 20 points" Last edited by Zippygoose : 02-25-2008 at 04:02 PM. |

| Proud Communist | Obama is at Wright State's Nutter Center right now, and it's packed. They turned away a few thousand people, due to space. On the local alternative radio station, punk station and classic rock station, I hear Obama ads. I've heard ONE Clinton ad, on an easy-listening station. These are all Dayton, Ohio based stations too. Haven't seen that many TV commercials, but have gotten at least one or two phone calls a day from a tape-recorded Hillary. Bill was at our YMCA yesterday (lol), and I heard barely anyone showed up. Poor fella. Obama seems to have Western Ohio on lock down. |

+3 Internets | The Obama ad I heard on the radio (its mostly some younger chick talking) is about getting younger people out to vote in their primary, prefferably for Obama. It's trying to rally the younger group of people who normally sits at home getting high, playing XBox and creating teenaged pregnancies to get off their asses and coming out and voting. To do so they try to motivate them with "youth empowering lingo" like "Hope" and "Change" etc. I thought it was a neat ad, but it was clearly not aimed at my older age group. It clearly was a targeted ad and not designed for everyone. I think it did the job. |

That is why Hillary is mocking him, acting angry, and sarcastic. All within 2 days. We are seeing the last desperate attempts at damaging him including putting out that picture.

| If there aren't any skeletons in the closet, it's like firing blanks for their negativity campaign. The best dirt they have is "look at what he's wearing OMGZ!!!" ? That doesn't and isn't working. |

| The negatively is also going to help McCain. I really doubt that the Hillary people will vote for Obama. The question is whether they will just sit out the election or vote for McCain to prove a point. I think if they just sit it out Obama may be ok but if they start voting for McCain to revenge Hillary, Obama will have a problem. This drawn out battle can do nothing but harm for the Democrats, especially if Hillary does not leave the campaign after March 4th. If she doesn't McCain may have a very easy time becoming President since he will only be going against 1/2 of the Democratic party. |

+6 Internets | After March 4th, I believe that she will bow out gracefully and start sucking off Obama, and that her supporters will largely vote for Obama. There is always a chance that she really only cares about herself and that she won't, but by all accounts if she doesn't win Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania by like 20 points each, she has no business in this race. |

+2 Internets | Personally I am just waiting to see what happens in tomorrow nights debate. The Clinton camp are obviously pulling out the stops ever since her gracious words at the end of the last debate. Obama polls behind in 3 of the 4 states on March 4th. (Most Obama supporters seem to consider Texas being in the bag, but I would caution against counting eggs before they are hatched. Texas looks positive for him, but counting wins before they happen is exactly what got the Clinton camp in trouble.) Obama has by FAR the best ground game, including in Ohio where he is still a solid 10-points down with only a week to go. ...Oh, and it looks like they are going to cross the mark of 1 Million unique donors before March 4th with time to spare. (the news media will eat a number like that up for a couple days...lets face it, that is an extraordinary number for a primary contest.) If Senator Obama makes no gaffes and Senator Clinton makes no productive moves in the debate....man it would be nice to have this over in a weeks time. |

Have you seen the delegate website that the Clinton campaign has put up explaining why they are still ahead? (even though every news source and analyst on earth now concede that she is behind even including super delegates). Mark Penn is still owed another 2 Million bucks JUST from January. His consulting firm is raking in absurd money (over 35 Million or so atm)...almost 1/3rd of Senator Clintons campaign expenses are consultants. None of those folks want this over in a week - they'd stop getting paid! I'm not going to put anything past them. If she is smart and rational she will bow out....The stuff coming from her camp since the weekend however hardly strikes me as smart or rational.
