+5 Internets | Digital Photo Frame Hey, does anyone out there have one of these? Or any recommendations on which to get? I can google and look at reviews, but I think I would trust something from here a bit more. Looking to get it as a gift for my mother, so ease of use is a huge plus, along with how good the pictures look. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. |

| I just bought one of the cheap ones on sale for Black Friday. Was $50 bucks at target, 7" frame. This one is fairly nice for the price but the resolution kinda sucks up close. Don't notice it if you are say 3-4 feet away. Things to look for beside resolution is internal memory, if they don't have internal memory you will need to buy a memory card for it. But SD cards are cheap as hell. The one I have doesn't have internal memory but works with most memory cards and USB 2.0 drives. Will not work with older USB drives. Also came with a remote. I have only played with it for a few minutes. Go to Staples they have them on display, if you want to play around with one. For $50 bucks it was a good buy and wife loves it. Not sure I would have paid full price(around 70-80 for this brand) because of the lack of internal memory, but it does have a remote. Trutech® 7" Digital Photo Frame : Target Link to the one I have also I forgot to mention is mine only supports jpeg, and you will see it is a generic cheap version. Others can support various formats. As for ease of use, just plug in a card and it searches for the pictures and starts displaying them. Last edited by Rythonn; 12-07-2007 at 10:47 PM.. |
