| The chip they are putting in your arm is in fact the mark of the beast. The coming of the anti-christ is near and motherfucking zombies are right behind him. Is that good enough? By the way man..I wasn't referring to anyone who contributed thus far in the thread. The thread topic just has the potential to draw in people who are stupid and believe very deeply in inaccuracys. They can't be scanned unless opened and pointed towards the scanner. Every citizen in the United States will have one in 2009 with our new RealID's - the new federal driver's license, passport, and various other important information attached to one simple card. Animals already get "chipped", employers have started "chipping" their employees to make sure they're doing what they're supposed to be doing, and it's going to get worse from here on out. | Kind of interesting thing with these chips is that all the foreigners in Japan will be getting these in their ID cards soon so that it will be easier for the police to find out who you are and if you have a valid visa without having to actually stop you on the street. Lot of people are upset about it but since foreign residents can't vote or anything they will probably go ahead with it just like the photo/fingerprint/interview for every foreigner now entering into Japan....including those with permanent resident status. Anyway just wanted to say..... |

Your constant paranoia attempts about rfid are valid. But then what other technology doesn't have problems/flaws? Are you really that safe playing around on the internet using windows xp and purchasing things with your credit card? Didn't people bitch and moan about ssn's forever, or ATM machines? New technology brings about lots of questions and concerns and they are all viable, however annoying they are. I do not have any godly answers to any of your questions. My main problem was trying to get my head around the physics of pinpointing someones location based on a 13.56 Mhz tag. I still am having a problem with it, but it does look like gps units are getting very very small and I will admit that does raise my eyebrows.

| It still needs a power source. So unless you got a battery shoved up your ass, you're pretty good. Eventually yeah, they'll be able to use the bioelectric current from your body, but really, you can be recognized by this thing, it's called your face. Amazing isn't it. Read range still blows. And if you're that concerned, carry some lead on you. Metal in the vicinity of the tag really fucks up read range. Honda recently purchased some RFID units from us and we told them read range in a clean room is 2 ft. They then went into their car manufacturing plant with metal everywhere, and complained when the read range dropped to like 5 inches. |

| I guess a lot of the people on FOH are pierced and tattooed. Well I am not one of them. Putting anything under my skin is a violation of human rights. Nevermind foreign metal and plastic that is carcinogenic. Anyone that thinks this will become common place in people is mentally disabled. This will never catch on, with ANY generation, except cyberpunks living in an age with no personal freedoms. Bye ID chips, cya in 3300 A.D. |

Every time they draw from that vial, they take a little bit of silicon rubber with it in the needle. They have proven that multiple draw vials are causing long term cancer due to the accumulation of silicon rubber in the body. So you can forget the safety of this metal/plastic abomination being implanted in your skin. Nevermind it would be painful to be touched in that area.
