+40 Internets | Absinthe Legalized~ So, Absinthe has been legalized and it is finally in the states. Lucid Absinthe is the first product to emerge. Wish I had more things to say but now I'm at a blank. |

+40 Internets | Thujone is what makes it a hallucinative but from reviews I hear that it's a whole different type of buzz/high/whatever. The laws against Thujone where always set higher than what Absinthe has always been distilled with. But until recently they have been clarified and made available. |

+40 Internets | I have read some things about people creating Wormwood Hash and smoking it and totally fucking them up. Was an interesting read but if you OD on it you go into convulsions and could die. This is all crazy interesting to me seeing a 95year ban lifted. |

| Absinthe is definitely different than alcohol in terms of the effect it has. Personally I didn't care for it and wouldn't drink it again, but I'm not exactly an authority on drugs as I don't even like alcohol much anymore and have never tried anything else and don't intend to. Edit: I'm talking about real Absinthe, with thujone. Even that Lucid stuff has so little thujone in it I doubt you'll get anything other than plain old drunk off it. |

| Of course it was going to become fully legal eventually, it's an alcoholic beverage with a hip reputation and as such will be capitalized upon by alcohol producers who already have the infrastructure set up to produce and distribute it. Leave it to big alcohol lobbyist to get a mild neurotoxin legalized while substances with no known LD remain schedule 1.

Ended up drinking it undistilled, was like something you would dredge out of an engine. Some people couldn't even get it close to their nose without vomiting bile. Saw light tracers though!

+15 Internets | I grabbed a couple of bottles of absinth from Slovakia, Eurotrip-style. Even their stuff was just hard booze. Cracks you in the face fast, especially mixed with water and sugar. It'll be the same over here. No green fairy for you off the storeshelves, but I can definately see a black market for the legit type growing exponentially larger. |
