| Intel Retail Edge If you work in a major computer retailer and enjoy building systems and don't know what Intel Retailedge is you should be kicking yourself in the face with your left foot at this moment. Otherwise if you have, I'm hoping you've gotten then necessary points for what looks to be a sweet deal from Intel this year. This is my first year in RetailEdge, and I'm looking forward to seeing what's on for this year (q6600? what intel board? vista ultimate?) What luck have you guys had with some of the previous years and what board does it look like it will be this year?

| So if you are some stock boy at a major computer store and take a bunch of Intel training courses you can earn points. If you earn enough points you can buy whatever bundle they offer. I guess its a win for Intel. If people learn all there is about Intel they are more likely to sell it to customers while they spout off all the cool facts they know. |

| Intel Retail Edge is basically a program available to those who sell Intel computers. Basically, Intel rewards those who log in to their site every month to take quizzes about Intel technology with points that can be used to purchase a bundle at the end of the year for a really good price. Last years bundle included Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor E6300 Intel® Desktop Board DG965WH Microsoft* Windows Vista* Ultimate 32 and 64 bit versions at the price of only $220. Specific details have not been released this year, but they have promised a quad-core processor. |

+25 Internets | Does this Apply to Intel Mac's now too? That'd be awesome to be able to get a discounted Mini or another iMac.

| Google Try it. Regardless, basically you sign up at Intel's site for retail edge if you work in a major computer retailer. You take their quizzes every month and get points. Once you reach a certain number of points you're eligible for their yearly purchase program in which you get a bundle of computer components and typically the highest version of the current Windows release (IE: Vista Ultimate) at about 30-20% of its normal OEM or retail price. From what I gather this year it looks like Vista Ultimate, a Core 2 Q6600, and some Intel P35 chipset based board in the range of 200-250$. I'm neither partial to either AMD nor Intel. But seeing as the Core architecture is superior to K8 especially when it comes to overclocking and anything on the high end, it's the one I recommend to performance users.
