Speedball fields are full of 15 year old kids trying to act tough. My whole family plays paintball and one time we were at a speed ball field and some kid shot my brother out, you're supposed to put your gun in the air and walk off to this tunnel thing. The little douchebag proceeded to follow my brother and keep taking shots at him. My brother then politely went over and beat the shit out of the kid.

10 minutes later we were all banned from the speedball field

Woods ball however is amazing! Every Thanksgiving while the women cook turkey and discuss The View we play a gnarly ass paintball game in the woods...best holiday ever.

Fuck, one time my family was playing woodsball and I got fucking lit up by some kid not even playing in our game, he thought I was his older brother. Damnit now I want to go out and play tomorrow.

The first couple minutes you will be full of adrenaline and apprehension waiting to make your first kill or feel the paintball for the first time...such a fucking rush.

Best time I had was in Guam back in 90. We had several fields, The Pit, Jungle and open field (grass was about waist high). Field was fun, flag in the middle, had to capture and return to your side. I was covering the flag on the way back, kneeling, took a shot right to the forehead. Ended up on my back, more from the surprise of getting tagged in the head, didn't really hurt.

Jungle was great, most of us were Air Force guys in our winter weight camo, everyone else was wearing some kind of camo, ended up about 2 feet from a guy when we heard, "Your Dead", never even got a shot off =/ They were pretty strict on close up shots.

We did have one guy out there with a full auto gun, was pretty cool. He didn't like to use it a lot tho, would jam a lot.

All in all a damn fun game.
