| Science Questions So I got this question and I have no idea wtf its talking about.. not much into science please help someone! A wooden baseball bat and an aluminum bat have the exact same shape, size and mass. Aluminum is much denser then wood. Explain how the two bats could be the same size and mass? |

+31 Internets | what is the measurement of mass? Though mass and weight aren't the same, I thought they were linearly correlated? If both bats are the same mass, just say 1 kilogram, and are the same size and shape, why do they have a different weight in Newtons? I guess what I am asking is that if 2 objects that are the same shape and displace the same volume, and are also the same mass (1000 grams), they should weigh the exact same. A pair of 1000 gram baseball bats should weight the same, when measured in Newtons...?
