And Hamburger Helper and beef special, god I did the exact same thing. I feel like such a fanboi now, but what you posted was my college life..... The only thing I can add is that Sam's Club used to have a sale once a month where frozen chicken breast was $1 a pound same thing with chicken wings. I am sure they are ridiculously expensive now in the states. Hell even in China I am paying twice that for chicken now. Other bargains were the cheap kind of cream of mushroom soup. Not the deluxe kind we were talking about earlier, the red and white no picture variety. Take 2 of those cans, throw in a pound of chicken breast, add on top some stouffers stuffing (bought on sale of course) throw in a pan, add some aluminum foil on top, cook 350 for an hour, voila instant classic meal. Oh and Tuesday was free dry day at my laundry mat in college, so load up all your clothes in to the jumbo washer, then split them in to 3 different machines for free drying. Laundry for a week was $2. Of course Tuesday night you go to the movies because the movies were half price with free popcorn in the matinee. As you can see I lived college with very little money. My full scholarship gave me just tuition. I was on my own for living and eating. But then again, there was an artform in the Mariot dining services RPI used. They gave you 10 free buddy passes per year to the students who paid for them. I just always walked in with a large group of friends and got free food The hard days though were on rugby practices, practice started right after my last class and ended at 8pm, so I had to pay for those meals. Hence the Price Chopper value plan I perfected. | |

| At Whataburger they had the 99 cent breakfast taquitos. Well, one night me and my friend have the munchies and order like 7 of these. I expected the total to be around 8 dollars with tax, turns out it's almost 14 dollars. They had randomly changed the price of the taquitos from 99 cents to 1.79, WHAT THE FUCK. I don't eat at Whataburger anymore, even though for fast food it's damn good. If I have the munchies, I usually hit up Jack in the Box nowadays, dollar menu tacos ftw. Are you from Houston? If so you should go to Mission Burrito, Freebirds is overpriced and not as good.

+5 Internets | I was in Dallas, now I'm in Chicago which is a wasteland of tex-mex /mexican food. Switching from Taco-Cabana tortillas and queso to char-dogs at the Weiner's Circle for late night drunk food has not been easy. |

+45 Internets | I recall eating a lot of soup and spaghetti at school. Oh, and lunch meats. Hell I still eat those now, as if I were 8 years old or something. The cafe at work makes 7lpbs fatias that I like. I don't want to know how much fat is in the General Tso's though. Everything there costs $5 though. Salad? $5. Pizza? $5. Cup of pudding? $5. Sigh. |
