I'm afraid of getting a Macbook (and I want the Air!) because of program compatibility. I don't know if you can use Microsoft 2008 because several of my classes require me to write papers.

Other than that, I would love a macbook air. :P

Does anyone have any opinions about Sager notebooks? The reviews for the new models (5792/5793) look pretty good and they come with an 8800M GTX and 4GB RAM. I'm mostly concerned about whether I'd have a problem carrying one around.

Actually I was looking at Xotic PC as their price seemed a little bit lower than Sager. How's their rep?

Don't know about Xotic...I've heard bad things from Dell, but I know first bad hand experience with Sager. :\

Macs use intel now, you can just install Windows.

Send a message via AIM to Lenas
If by hard you mean "create a new partition, put in a windows cd, install, and boot" then yes.

Put CD in, follow directions.... just like installing on a PC.

Just got a MBP myslf, pretty happy with it. Installing Windows was a breeze, and the game performance was decent enough - had no problems playing COD4 on it, max res & most bells / whistles. Mostly stay in OSX with it tho.

If you just got the MBP I would see if you can return it for the new models they released today. I think you have 2 weeks or a month.
