+1 Internets | Yes... I have one and it's sick. Best purchase I ever made for my PC, and I paid $999 three months ago. You can find more opinions though at this 221 page thread at Hardocp.com. |

| All no tuner means is that you cannot pickup signals DIRECTLY from an antenna or coaxial cable. You need an external tuner such as a cable box to convert the signals from an antenna/coax cable into direct video. |

+5 Internets | If it's near your computer you can get an ati hdtv tuner and an over the air antenna. You can set your computer up as a dvr as well. Note that if you view this size TV from 6 or more feet away I'd just get a cheaper 720p tv with a better contrast ratio. Since I "personally" am planning on mostly 720p i'm getting: Newegg.com - Olevia Silver 37" 16:9 8ms HD LCD TV Model 337H - Retail Since most 360/ps3 games will be only 720 and I'm definately gonna watch movies from a distance that will make the difference between 720p and 1080p indistinguishible. +25 Internets | man who still uses a TV as a tuner? If you have satellite TV, your TV doesn't need a tuner. Same if you have a cable box. If you even have a DVD player or VCR, those have tuners. If you NEED a TV with a tuner, you probably have a TV with knobs. |

+19 Internets | I have the 42" Westinghouse 1080p LCD as well as their 22" WS monitor and have no complaints about either. Both perform excellently. Another thing about no TV tuner means you don't get things like closed captions/text decoder either. If that matters to you. I have a HD cable box hooked up to the 42" and it looks great. |

| Deal going on at the BX I work at, 42" Plasma HDTV Monitor for $899 after rebate + $100 gift card. Trying to convince my wife to let me get it. I also have the 22" Westinghouse Widescreen and I have to say, it's pretty nice. |

Its a good deal if you have a box to hook it up to or a PC that you can buy a tuner for but its definitly something someone should consider when buying a TV... where I am anyway it can get damn expensive to have a digital cable box for every TV in the house.
