DVD Drive Problem

I have an LG DVD Burner and recently its stopped allowing me to burn CD's. When I use any burning program (Nero, WMP, Itunes, etc) it says please insert a cd to begin burning.

Now for months its been burning CD's just fine. It also recognizes a blank cd being in the drive, just wont allow me to burn and ask me to insert a cd. No file types work. Everything else works just great and no other problems.

Any ideas? I've updated the firmware, reinstalled all the programs listed above, tried them 1 at a time.. nothing seems to work.

They're 40$. Buy a new one.
