Harry Potter World

So I heard this morning there will be a Harry Potter World theme park in Florida and is due to open in '09-'10.

I'm not familiar with the theme park world. Will HP be an add-on to an existing theme park or is it going to be an entire park of it's own thats part of an over-all uhh...branch of parks?

2. Does HP really deserve a theme park? If HP has a theme park thats like comparing it to Disney. Even franchises like Star Trek only warrant a themed hotel and casino.

It's not going to be its own Disney Land. It will have a certain section of the park at IoA that is "Harry Potter Land," just like you have tomorrow land and adventure land at Disney.

Eh, if LEGO has multiple theme parks, I don't think Harry Potter having it's own section of a theme park is much of a stretch.

It's just going to be like the already in-place themed areas of Islands of Adventure, such as Jurassic Park, Dr. Seuss, Marvel etc.

Harry Potter is a fucking gigantic franchise. The author has made over a billion dollars for writing some fucking books. Makes me want to pick up the pen, but in the end it'd just end up inside someone's nose probably.
