| BTW, Iran is very pro-US among the younger population. Ahmadinejad is pretty much just a talking head without any real power, and the whole nuclear threat thing from Iran is quite ridiculous. They most definitely are not that crazy. The only thing that could stop time from keeping Iran on it's very pro-democracy course is attacking it. We'd be setting the country back decades and become the focal point of their hatred. |

+54 Internets | The Republican Party in Virginia is going to require an "oath of allegiance" from anyone voting in their primaries, swearing that they will vote for the Republican candidate in the general election. Probably to stop Democrats and Independents from voting for Ron Paul. Pledge of Allegiance - The Opinionator - Opinion - New York Times Blog Approved by the state board of election, but unlikely to be enforceable. (or legal, even) |

| Wow this is the first time I've bothered to watch a fucking debate and what a god damn waste of time it was. Not to mention the fact that Ron Paul got hmm about 1/5th the air time of any other candidate and that in the post debate panel they showed Mccains attack stating that the troops want us to let them "win this" which of course Paul responded that he had the most donations from troops, but they EDITED that part out! Unbelievable. He's not even close yet and they are just shutting him out left and right. BTW that fucking dipshit that held the bible up and said if you believe every word in this it will tell us everything we need to know needs to drink some of the purple juice and ride the comet to lala land. |

Then again, when the press has stopped asking intelligent questions and instead defers to the common people via YouTube to generate double advertising dollars off of site hits and tv ratings, at least some of the country's weaknesses are exposed.

I honestly wonder how people can watch news stations like CNN or FOX when most of what they spew forth is worthless crap. After watching the debate last night (the first one I've ever watched) I wonder just how many simpletons are fooled by this farce. |

What? What's that? How was John McCain re-writing history? By saying that appeasement and isolationism is what brought Hitler to power. Hmmm....let's see here..... The Weimar Republic was installed by the West after the end of World War I.....Germany had massive reparations to pay back to the West....when they defaulted on the paybacks, France and other countries took over industry rich areas of Germany for themselves....Germany resorted to printing money out of the sky (got so bad it was cheaper to burn Papiermarks than actual wood)....Unemployment rose because of the reparation payments to the West ('cause of direct increases in taxes and decreased exports)....further national debt was taken on by Germany....Paul Von Hindenberg was senile and was no fan of a democratic Reich....the exact nature of the German constitution allowed for the Reichstag remove the Reichskanzler without a successor lined up...just total major fuck-ups across the board with reparations being a huge part of the problem that lead to Hitler's rise to power....... NOT ISOLATIONISM, JOHN! I swear, it's shit like this that kills me about the MSM. They should call people out on bullshit and faggotry like this but they just let it slide. The sad thing is there are idiotic SOBs out there in this country with the combined IQ of a hot steaming turd that will take shit like this as the gospel truth; these are the same people who have been failed by their fellow human beings by preventing Darwinism from doing it's natural duty. It's the same thing with hearing Republicans state that this is a Christian nation and people believing that line of horse shit. Learn about Madison, Jefferson, Washington and you'll find they have a very healthy distrust of the Church with regards to maintaining a free society...but that's another can of worms... McCain is done for after this debate. He had one shining moment and that was taking Romney to task on the torture issue. Outside of that, he offered nothing new or moving; if anything, McCain regurgitated the same policies of the current administration. Huckabee, Romney and Giuliani regurgitated the same shit they always do. Fred looked so dis-interested I'm wondering why he's even running. I would've loved to hear more about Paul's ideas if they would give him fucking time but of course CNN has an agenda - as evident by the Clinton plant question (not saying it wasn't a valid question because it very much is - what I'm pointing out merely is the agenda the news agencies have). These are the days where I miss having the League of Women's Voters running the debates - you know, when issues were actually DISCUSSED and you couldn't wiggle out of shit.

| The part that pissed me off the most was when some question got asked, I forget which one... but they asked Guiliana, Thompson, Mccain, skipped over Paul, and ended with Tancredo or whoever was on the end there.... It was so blatantly obvious. Just amazing! EDIT Yea I was gunna say something about the WW2 reference as well, but its jut a waste of time. The media shouldn't be allowed in these fucking runs with how corrupt they are. Last edited by Ortega; 11-29-2007 at 11:44 AM.. |

However, at some point you have to put the past behind you and move on. Not John, though. Ever since then, McCain has sounded like a complete and utter raving lunatic. He's still trapped in 2000 and hasn't figured out yet that he's lost. Even Romney and Giuliani - two assholes I'd love to see sodomized with a rusty cheese grater - had to point out to McCain that the line item veto is unconstitutional...and here is McCain denying that it's not. Hey John....if it isn't in the Constitution, it's unconstitutional. Wanna change that? Change the fucking Constitution! That's how you get around the US Supreme Court. God damn people can be so fucking stupid sometimes. Don't blame the judges; blame yourself for not taking the obvious road to achieve the goal you want.

| A Bearded Gnome | lol, I got a chuckle last night, He believes there's an imaginary road being built as an international highway(from mexico to canada) as this big conspiracy theory. It's scary people are actually behind this guy.
