I'm actually a Huckabee guy (who cares why), and totally thought that Ron Paul and Huckabee got screwed in the debate tonight. They both caried themselves better than the 2 "frontrunners" yet get a third of the airtime.

Meh

Way too much of the time was wasted on McCain and Huckabee's bickering about who said what and whether or not "timetable" was a euphemism for withdrawal. Stupid, I hope they both lose votes over it.

This seems to of been the ongoing theme for the whole thing. Not as bad for Huckabee as of late as it has been for Paul but still bad for both of them.

To be fair Huckabee had some good points about infrastructure, but no one gets elected on the "I'll fix the roads" ticket.

The content of Ron Paul's responses is very good. He makes a lot of sense. The problem is that he has the charisma of Ross Perot.

Why does McCain have that stupid ass grin on his face? I think he has the beginning phase of Alzheimer's disease.

Then he was the right man at the right place.

I've heard rumors that McCain's health is very poor - that he's having seizures at random times and places, and that his health has been on the decline for a few years now. If so, it boggles my mind that he would continue to run.

It would be nice to have some confirmation, but it would explain some of his behavior.

Maybe he just wanted to prove to himself he can win a place on the ticket even post 2000 election. personally i think he is too old and feeble for the job, which could make him dangerous.

American life expectancy is now almost 78. So in theory he would live for 1.5 terms.

That's ridiculous, the life expectancy is inapplicable to individual persons. It just means they're just as likely to die at 98 as 58. The variance is enormous.

It has nothing to do with age. A person can be sickly and die at 20 - although those in their 70s are much more vulnerable to it.

But saying that McCain would live exactly 6 years because he's 6 years away from the average life expectancy? Come on!

Haha, that's pretty hilarious. Median American income is about $45,000, so in theory Bill Gates should be losing a fuckton of money by year-end.

Old and feeble? What the fuck is this shit, he isn't loading ammo boxes on military cargo planes, he is managing a country. What you meant to say is "experience".

And damn, he was speaking some real truth at that cnn debate.

No i really mean he looks old and enfeebled. he always looks like he wants a nice rocking chair for him to take a nap in. i cant possibly see him being able to handle the stress of a presidency.
