This is the average Poll percantage for the GOP nomination across the country (01/14/08-01/22/08): McCain - 26.2% Romney - 20.2% Huckabee - 18.5% Giuliani - 13.5% Paul - 5.3% Here are the current number of delegates each has: Romney - 67 McCain - 38 Huckabee - 26 Paul - 6 Giuliani - 1 And because Florida will soon cause a huge swing in those delegates (57, winner take all), we'll look at average of those polls too (updated today): McCain - 29.9% Romney - 29.1% Giuliani - 15.4% Huckabee - 12.8% Paul - 3.9%

Though, there is another vote on Febuary 9th there I think, but it doesn't seem that does anything either. The system is even more convoluted than in other states. But, even if Paul wins all 105 delegates from Louisiana in whatever bizzare way they do it down there, it still won't A) Give Paul momentum since the delegates throw in at the convention, B) Won't matter unless he starts placeing 1st and (a close) 2nd in other states.

| Not sure what to make of this for the Democrats since the votes don't count. I am sure that Billary will force the Democrats to use Michigan and Florida somehow however. Looks like Billary and McCain are the front runners. Damn. Just damn. If that is the case, this will be the first election since I was eligible that I would not vote. I am sure McCain will lose and we have more years of the Clintons in that match up. Imagine that. It makes me want to cry like a little Bitch. |

| ghoul to drop out, taking field down to 4, and realistically 3 since i think huckabee is running short on money as well. i guess this gives ron more face time, hopefully he takes advantage of it so he polls outside of single digits when its down to 3. |

| caught the last 30 minutes the second time around, best part is when the moderator is like you'll all get your chance to speak on this, and paul and huckabee look at eachother and are like "yeah right, this is dumb, lets leave". |

| Real Life Apologist | When Cooper only asked the 3 of the 4 (not Paul) about their conservative chops, Paul interjected later that he wanted to address that question that he has been overlooked for, Cooper said, "Just wait two minutes, you'll get to answer that question, I promise." Never happened. Paul was never allowed to answer that question. Also, on the Sandra Day O'Connor question - all the others were allowed to make commentary, Paul was only allowed a yes/no answer, and was distinctly cut off before he managed to finish his sentence. |
