+23 Internets | I have never had the pleasure of working on a 30", so I can't speak to it. About a year ago, I bought dual 21" lcd's, 1600x1200 each. 2 21" at 1600x1200 = 3840000 pixels 1 30" at 2560 x 1600 = 4096000 pixels I paid 1200 for my 2 monitors. I am not sure if I could have got the dell back them for 1200, but in retrospect, the widescreen probably would have been a better idea. Although, with 2 screens, I do like being able to maximize a window to just 1 screen at a time. Then again, with 2 30" screens, i still could. I don't think you can lose with the Dell 30". |

| It's viable sure, but you'd better have one hell of a machine if you want to play new games at anywhere near max settings (minus AA, which is simply unnecessary at anything above 1680x1050). Whether you find it too hard to focus on the entire screen area, especially in RTS games, is a matter of preference. |
