| DVI and HDMI Video card questions hi guys. I recently purchased a HD tv Smansum 46' DLP, with HDMI inputs. I currently own a Ati x700 Pro video card with DVI and vga output. I want to connect my PC to the TV using the highest posible quality. A friend told me to buy a HDMI-DVi cable connector. Seems like a great idea, however the question i Have is: Will the TV display my PC signal, in a 720i format or it will go to the 420(sp) standard? The video card has plenty of memory so i can do 1280x1024 on my Monitor. Does any has tried this combination or can advise? |

| My video card was the deciding factor as to what format was displayed. I set it to 1080p within my video card settings. Within that same option it showed other settings. As far as the tv goes it just displays whatever quality it is capable of displaying on my set.
