+16 Internets | Good post, thanks Celeb. I was looking for a protien that was good with water. My problem is since I do mainly cardio, I only do protien shakes 2-3 times a week max, so I waste a ton of milk. The SIX STAR products I've bought have always been great, taste decent too. You do seem to take a shitload of supplements though. Lately all I take is a multi-vitamin. I really need to start with my protien again during/post workout. I don't know about all those "possible benefits" though. The surge seems interesting, but $30 for 16 servers = rip off extreme imo. I think for now for price I'll finish off my nasty ass / cheap ass creatine monohydrate I got with my academy giftcard then try out that Metabolic drive with creatine ethyl ester. I don't like dropping a ton of money on supplements. Rice maybe pre workout Ronne, I'd try to avoid it for dinner. If you're good with cooking (not lazy) then you can pretty much skip protien shakes and just eat lots and lots of chicken breast. I get tired of it though. Any of you willing to post some shots so we know you aren't 500lbs bulking up your man titties?

+43 Internets | Yeah, if it's anything worth taking from my list, it's the Protein. Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry are really good. Sometimes I get the Banana cream one and take 1 scoop Strawberry 1 scoop Banana. When I wake up, I take 2 scoops of the Metabolic, half a banana(actual fruit) for Vanilla, or 1 tbsp natural peanut butter for chocolate (tastes just like reeses pb cups) and 1/4th cup of Quaker oatmeal (not cooked). 2 other shakes during the day, with only 1 scoop and minus the oatmeal. Also, just in case you didn't calculate the per serving before you said it's a rip off. The Surge is $1.87 per serving (3 scoops). That is cheaper than buying a Gatorade for pre-during-post workout. Look at the nutritional facts. That's the best meal you can get for post workout, imo. Just to add, it's 96 cents per scoop of Metabolic Drive protein powder. I don't have any recent pictures, I'm sure there's some paparazzi pics out there somewhere with my face in them, but here's my Myspace. Pics on there are almost 2 years old. My weight right now is 245lbs at 6'1". I don't know my body fat %. I'm looking to get down to about 215. I haven't had the chance to do much training the past year because of all the shit going on with Puff's new album, but now things have quieted down. I went up about 30lbs the past year. It's all good though, I should be back to my target weight in 6 months or so. |

I'll see if I can find a pic to prove I'm not a Blaezenfury, I'm definitely not real big anymore. I played football in college and was ~230 at just under 6' and rock solid. Since then the only physical activity I do is surf, so I've been trying to actively lose muscle as extra weight does me no good in the water. I'm a fairly lean 180-185 now. | |
