| state income tax question If I work in Florida (for the state of florida that is) and I live in Georgia. Do they take out state taxes on me? edit-florida has no state income tax

| I have the opposite situation where I live in New Hampshire and work in Mass. Anyhow mass takes out taxes, so I'm willing to bet georgia will tax you based on you residency. Or you could just go buy taxcut or whatever and it'll figure it out for you. Edit: my point was it is based on state law. there is no rule regarding residency or non-residency. |

+3 Internets | It's based on residency, not where you work. For instance, the entire time I was in the military, I lived in California, Virginia, Illinois, etc but paid state income tax to Texas, which luckily has no state income tax. |
