Archos 504 80GB vs Creative Vision W 60GB vs ?

I'm looking at one of these two multimedia players. I'm not interested in any apple products. I'm leaning towards the Archos 504 for the DVR capabilities (I am not afraid to spend the extra $70-$99 for the DVR docking station) and I would most definitely use the DVR feature. I'm not interested in the other Archos models, not even the 604 Wi-Fi, because they max out at 30 gigs and that is not enough for me to put my music library on it and use it to DVR. The Zen doesn't have DVR capability, but I've read that the Zen has a better interface and is easier to carry around, however those are probably personal opinions. Anybody have an experience with either of these players or a similar large screen multimedia player that I may be interested in other than these two?

I only have experience with the Cowon A2, but unfortunately that caps out at 30GB, and the A3/P5 models aren't due out for a few more months. Info from CES 2007 about the A3 has me drooling already though.

Looking at the specs of the two you mentioned, I'd say the Archos looks to be the clear winner... especially since you like the DVR stuff. The Zen is bigger in all dimensions and heavier than the 504, so I doubt it's easier to carry around.

Woot : One Day, One Deal has a 60gb Toshiba Gigabeat for $205 (with shipping) today, if you're still looking around. I know nothing about them, but when I saw it, I remembered this post and thought I'd let ya know.
