| Ageia Physx Card Anyone use it? I realize game support is limited, but it appears they have quite alot of development on the way. Just not sure how much an impact it would make on a true SLI system. Ageia |

+29 Internets | With dual core processors becoming common, and quads on the way, I doubt these will ever be successful. I realize that they might be far more capable than a general CPU at physics simulation, and so do developers. But would you rather spend dev time working on dual core optimization that 50% of your userbase can take advantage of, or physics card optimization that 5% of your userbase can take advantage of? I just really can't see how they can get these cards to a critical mass. It's a chicken and egg problem. No one will buy them until there's dev support, and dev's won't support them until it's worthwhile to do so. |

| Not interested until it's built into the motherboard or video card. Having to fill a PCI slot with a sound card is bad enough, but good sound is pretty much a requirement. Physics processing isn't even remotely close to being a must-have yet. |
