| DOG The Bounty Hunter arrested http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=DB.../64&p>1=8506 What i got from this was he apparently pulled some serial rapist from mexico illegally back into the U.S. and mexico is extraditing him.. I can't believe the US would even agree to something as lame as that anyways.

+29 Internets | Good. When you go to another country, it's probably a good fucking idea to make sure your activities there won't be breaking any laws. If you do, deal with the consequences. The US government has absolutely no say in whether or not they should extradite him, other than ensuring the charges being brought against him are legitimate, as it has an extradition treaty with Mexico. That said, he did a good thing arresting that pedo. But it's his own damn fault for not doing his research. What he should have done was contacted authorities with his tip on the guy's location, and let them do their thing. But he wanted the glory, and now his ass might end up in a Mexican hellhole. Tough shit. I know it's hard to believe, but the rest of the world doesn't operate based on the US's laws and justice system. Deal with it. Last edited by Eomer : 09-14-2006 at 05:54 PM. |

+29 Internets | Yeah I realize, that's the one thing that doesn't make sense to me. Trust me, I'm no fan of the Mexican justice system. Two Canadians were slaughtered (throats cut ear to ear) by someone in Playa Del Carmen the night before their's kids wedding, and the authorities there immediately blamed two other Canucks staying across the hall that had left that morning, calling them "contract killers." Problem was, the two Canadians were both women with children, one a nurse, and had no connection whatsoever to the murdered people. The entire thing was so completely botched, it was almost comical. Turns out a hotel security guard that never showed up for work again and has not been seen since was ex-military. The Mexican sleuths missed that one. But again, from what I know about the case, he should have been charged and convicted 3 years ago. It's bizarre they're charging him again. |

| This, unfortunately, has nothing to do with the integrity of Mexican law, and /everything/ to do with the fact that the Mexican authorities wanted to be the ones getting all the media attention for capturing Andrew Luster, and Dog refused to give them a piece of the glory. |

+29 Internets | Okay, so it turns out he posted bail to get out of jail back in 2003, and then skipped the next hearing. So the "bounty hunter" that spends most of his time hunting down bail jumpers, is getting a taste of his own medicine. What a jackass. |
