NFL

Could anyone be kind enough to post the scores to Sundays games here please? This morning Washington Mutual figured it would be a wise fucking idea to ban any and every website containing the word "sport" in it, so anywhere and everywhere in which I could go to find out this information has now been blocked.

Those assholes. Thanks in advance.

That was a great opening weekend. Huge upsets with Atlanta, St. Louis, and Baltimore, and then New England and Seattle almost dropping their games.

Any game played against Houston should be taken with a grain of salt, but the Eagles looked fantastic. All the talk in the NFC East was about the Skins, Giants, & Cowboys, when I think Philly quietly had the best offseason. They shored up the D-line, and Stallworth may prove the be the biggest steal of the year. I can't wait for next weeks game against the Giants.

How is the atmosphere down there in regards to the Bush/Williams pick? Worse after week 1? Williams didn't do anything spectacular from what I saw (and looked downright bad at times), while Bush definitely lived up to the hype. I'd be pretty unhappy if I was a Houston fan.

I actually think you guys have a pretty good QB in Carr, if you can get an O-line to protect him.

I agree, Eagles-Giants is going to be a great game next week. If the Eagles manage to shut down Tiki Barber (not likely but a man can hope) and make Eli beat them, Eli is going to start making mistakes.

And James, I wouldn't throw in the towel on Houston yet. If they figure out how to play a whole football game instead of just playing for a quarter, they could make some noise. Though, I think they are going to spend the next 10 years regretting taking Mario Williams over Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler.

I was sweating bullets the first quarter of the Eagles-Texans, that's for sure. Luckily for eagles fans, the team that made the Eagles look like jackasses the first 15 minutes didn't show up the rest of the game.

And did y'all see the hit that got put on Trent Green? Man, he got the shit hammered out of him, I am glad he is alright because when they carted him off the field, he looked like he was dead.

No, it's actually kinda crazy. This website, along with EVERYTHING in it, and I'm even including the crap in Screenshots has not been targetted.

They've taken out Youtube, Google Video, Sports Illustrated.com, NFL.com, all the NFL Team Sites, etc, but still haven't nailed the shit I find on here. I'm thinking they have problems filtering out whats on forums or something. I did manage to figure out that MSNBC.com's Sports section is just another news section to them, rather than a seperate sports site, so I could view the scores there. Thanks anyway tho.

Back to football...

Yeah, I thought Trent Green was dead after taking a hit like that. The slow-mo footage was almost disgusting. His head went all back and to the left (lol) - it's amazing that the x-rays and cat scans all came up negative.

I was actually shocked at the Bengal's offensive line. I never expected to see such from the likes of them - it's probably still too early to tell, but they might hold some promise this season.

As a Houstonian I cry seeing Wali Lundy in our backfield and Reggie Bush on the Saints.

Maybe next year we'll draft another future bust like Quinn since we're looking at another Top 5 pick.

Where the hell did the Bengal's D come from in general? A pass rush and run stuffing with Carson Palmer almost back up to speed, suddenly our schedule is isn't looking quite so bad.

I honestly thought Geathers broke Green's neck when 8 minutes later he hadn't moved an inch---and when there was motion blur from his head snapping on the ground in slow motion. Cincinatti fans know what it's like to lose the quarterback, so hopefully he gets back soon. On ther other hand, I hope Geathers doesn't get suspended as has been bantered about...we already have enough suspended players (bengals jail joke here). I'm obviously biased but I thought it was a clean but devastating hit. It looked like he got him with his shoulder and he was already off balance when he got a shove behind, but it's really hard to be objective about calls from your favorite team so who knows.

Geathers got knocked into him from behind, he had a little momentum.

Bah he was barely blocked. On slow motion you can see Green initiating a slide pretty early (check youtube). The hit was dirty dirty dirty to me.

I just checked that out on Youtube as well. That was a DAMN late hit, and definitely intending on roughing him up. Look how he makes the "tackle," holding his hand under him, it just screams dirty.
