+14 Internets | Photoshop question I was reading the somethingawful forum a while back and came across a thread called "Yourself doing things to yourself." It was basically people cloning themselves in pictures to make it look like they had a twin or something. I know you have to have a digital camera and take 2 pictures without moving the camera or anything. I was wondering what you do with the 2 pictures in photoshop? They posted tutorials on that thread, but I can't seem to find it anymore... it was a while back. If anyone knows of a tutorial or can explain how this is done I'd appreciate it! I've tried googling it, but can't come up with anything. |

| If you have to ask the question then you know absolutely nothing about PS. In which case, go look up any bigginers tutorial on how to use the program and go through it. There isn't some "lawlz makemyselfdothingstomyself" filter. |

+14 Internets | Yes, I know there is a simple way of doing it and a certain tool to use. I took a photoshop class back in high school, but forgot almost everything about the program. I didn't even think about it, but yeah.. I'm pretty sure I know what to do now. |

+14 Internets | Best way if you want it to look clean is use the pen tool, zoom in nice and tight, and click, click, click, click, click, click all the way around the border of the object. Make sure to get just inside the anti-aliasing area (in a photograph this would basically be the area where the colors of your object and the colors of the background are mixing), and when you have completed your path, use the Make Selection button on your paths window, and either inverse selection to delete everthting else or hit copy, depending on what you are doing with the object. In this case you'd copy. |

+1 Internets | A quick way (not the right way) would be to erase on the top layer where you are located on the bottom layer. Lower the opacity of the top layer so you can see where you are, and just take a big soft eraser and go at it. If the background is exactly the same, it will work fine. |
