Help with color display issue =/

Okay, hopefully you guys will be able to help me.

I took out my old ATI card and put in a different Geforce card. (5700fx ultra, i know its old, this isn't a gaming computer.) I didn't uninstall the ATI drivers until after I put in the new card and turned on the computer (oops). As soon as I put the card in, i noticed the colors were all messed up.

Essentially, now the colors on my screen are all greeney like. I did install the new drivers for my Nvidia card. Its not helping. When I go into the display properties in Windows XP, and then into "settings" I notice that under Color quality (under where it says Highest (32bit) and Medium (16bit) that the color spectrum displayed below that box is different than its supposed to be. I thought maybe that the wrong color profile is being displayed but when I take a screenshot and look at it on my other computer it looks fine. Clearly the color display is just messed up for some reason.

I tried changing the color on the monitor itself, no use. What else can I do? (I'm such a noob, sorry.) I want my color back =(

Do a google search and find a program that will completely erase all traces of the ATI Drivers.

Do the same for the Nvidia drivers and start all over with a fresh driver install.

If you are using an analog VGA cable, have you checked that it's not just not connected properly on both ends or maybe shorted out? I had a bum monitor that had a minor short in the vga cable right near the back of the monitor and gave a greenish tinge when it shorted out. But I could crimp the cable a bit and tuck it under the monitor in just such a way that everything looked fine as long as I didn't jostle it and that got me by for a good long time.
