Viewsonic vx924 monitor

It's time for a new monitor and my old 19" CRT is taken up a lot of space on my desk and emits a shitload of heat. I ordered the Viewsonic vx924 from Newegg. I was curious if anyone has this monitor or know of someone who has it? It has received excellent reviews but wanted opinions of some people here.

My last couple of viewsonics have crapped out on me after ~2 years, but they were both CRTs, so take it for what it is.

Why didn't you ask before you ordered?

What would possess someone to buy any LCD other than the Dell 2005FPW? 4:3 aspect ratio displays need to go the way of that other dinosaur, the CRT.

i also own a samsung 930b and it is an excellent monitor

if you aren't so concerned with getting a good deal though, sharp LCD's have better color display

I've been using the same 19" syncmaster crt for about 4 years now and its been slowly getting blurry over the last 6 months. Some webpages are so hard to read i have to ctrl + + a few times. I'd love to get a new monitor but i'm po.

its amazing how your standards change so quickly. Before I had this baby. I thought my 16.1in. widescreen laptop was pretty good size. Now everytime I turn the thing on, its like ugh.

I have it. Got it 2 months ago. Works great. Works for games and movies.

Fuck the money, that shit grows on tree's these dyas ...

2405FPW 24-inch for teh win. Unless you go with the 30-inch, but that's way too much screen real estate to deal with.
