| replacing the screen of a laptop Hi, earlier today I punched my laptop in a fit of anger and now the screen is shattered and completely fucked up -- the only part of the monitor that shows anything other than random lines now is maybe 1 square inch in the top left corner. Is it possible/economical to have the screen replaced or should I just throw the piece of shit away? |

+77 Internets | depends on how nice of a laptop it is.... If you paid under fifteen hundred for it, trash it. Screens are the most expensive part of a notebook and are next to impossible to fix and cost about 60% of the full cost to replace. |

| Try and find a huge computer show to goto. Then try and find the identical model to yours. Either replace your laptops monitor with the new one or change the harddrive from your fucked-screen laptop and put it in the new one.
