Selling plasma?

has anyone ever sold plasma on a regular basis? i'm living the poor college student's life right now and i'm looking into trying to sell some of mine for some extra cash

selling my semen was my first choice but i can't find anywhere in charlotte that does that kind of thing

My friend used to do this back in our party(raves) days to buy tickets and X. I think he'd get $20 the first time and $30 the second time (you can only do it twice a week). Hey, 50 bucks extra per week is 50 bucks, whether you have a job or not.

Are you looking for information about it, or were you just wondering if anyone here has done it before?

that's a pretty big needle they use to extract plasma, one of my friends used to do this to get beer money, the marks it leaves are easy to mistake for track marks (heroin addiction) if you don't know what you're looking for, which i'm not sure i'd want to put up with for 50 dollars a week.

Unless you meant you were selling a chunk of the sun for 20-30$, in which case i'd say you aren't getting a very good deal.

I have a friend who does this, he was always talking about how great it was but it was only 15$ a pop, but he got a 20$ bonus for every guy he suckered into going with him.

Semen donations in Austin however are $150+, but you have to be "a college educated white male"

heh. I can't think of a more fucked up gene pool (talking neurosis, health defects, whatever) than college educated white guys. Maybe it's just the ones I know. You know there has to be a problem with racism in this country when someone is willing to take a latent cystic fibrosis gene rather than a slightly brown baby.

If you have the time to wait with all the freaks its not a bad gig. basically about 30-50 bucks a week to go and watch movies or study. Oh and the 1 scar you get is nothing like track marks but it is permanent if you go for more than a couple of times (they use the same puncture every time)

pot doesn't matter as long as you don't smoke like 10 minutes before you go to donate, THC gets absorbed pretty quick and while trace amounts might show up for drug testing purposes, they won't affect the quality/useability of your blood/plasma

ditto for alcohol but you can't have a BAC when you actually donate.

Pot sticks around a lot longer than other drugs, though. Not sure if they test for it or not. But because pot is fat soluable, it sticks around for awhile. That also makes it very easy to make brownies, so I guess it's a fair trade.
