Does planetside still suck as much as it did in open beta? Is it worth paying a monthly fee? I thought it had some potential.

I've been playing it lately, enjoying it quite a bit. I never liked it before because I didn't have anyone to play with... and getting the point of the game makes it a lot more fun, heh.

That gay bobbing sniper rifle no matter what you do did it in for me.

Bobbing... what?

As far as I know, sniper rifle doesn't move. It's just hard to use because the shot radius gets huge if you move at all.

Unless they completely removed the entire base capturing hot potatoe system then it's still crap to me. Nothing like fighting for territory all day only to wake up the next morning and find yourself deep in enemy respawn.

That hasn't changed, and, yes, the sniper rifle does bob around the center, you have to wait for it to hit your target. I also heard BFR (mechwarrior type things) destroyed the game for a while. It was never a full-time game like EQ or WoW, but it filled some time. You'll quit after your empire is pushed to sanctuary and has no where to go for the 1000th time.

the sniper rifle has never moved, not one bit. unless you have PD it wont move, i dont know what planetisde you're playing but i stil play it and i continuously pull the triger after each reload and it fires in the exact same spot each time.

If you're using the scope, it doesn't stay steady where you are pointing, it moves. Unless they changed it since I stopped playing recently, I don't know what game you're playing.

heh i dont know man, i've been playing since the game came out and its never, not once moved on me.

even if you stand or crouch when zooming in its never moved for me. you do know that what i mean by when i say when i snipe i dont move, im not connstantly moveing all over the place?, even when i do move to a different direction it takes like 3/4 of a second to go back to normal

Hmm yeah I played for a year (me). I only remember that because I got the year of service thing the day I left. Not bragging or anything, it's not like my stats are impressive, just displaying credentials.

I didn't use the sniper rifle because it bobbed as if to simulate human movement. I guess it's time to consult the ol' outfit about it.
