I wish this series would have ended halfway through Wolves of the Calla though, the last books left a bitter taste in my mouth and tainted the almost-perfection of the rest of the series. Waiting on a Feast for Crows too, starting on my third reread of the whole series, Winter is coming! Edit: Perfectness is not a word. Last edited by Kildace : 07-15-2005 at 07:43 AM. | |

The more I think back on WoT, the more I hate it. Half the writing is just feminazi propaganda. Sometimes I'm surprised a man wrote that series. Why doesn't he just complete the bullshit and make all males eunachs?

| Harry Potter review, some spoilers. I have to add my comment as well. Book started out very slow, but finished up pretty good. Only comment is that havent we already seen this story in book 1 2 3 4 5? Actually seems a little like the Wheel of Time. http://www.fantasybookspot.com/forum...opic.php?t=973 |

+25 Internets | Definitely waiting for A Feast for Crows. In the meantime I have been reading some Michael Cricthon, Robin Hobb, and, every time I get the chance, Orson Scott Card. EDIT: Moved to Song of Ice and Fire spoiler thread.

| Should I answer in this thread or would there be an interest in a song and ice and fire spioler thread? I don't want to force the info on people that would rather learn things the proper way in the book. |

| Has anyone here read Fitz's cycle from Robin Hobb? (the Farseer Trilogy) Some people recommended it to me, but 9 books is a significant time and money investment so I want to make sure that they're not going to be crap. I'll also be reading them after I'm done reading ice and fire so they have to measure up to it since it'll be fresh in my mind. |

+25 Internets | I'm reading them right now, actually...on the second book. They're pretty good, though a wee bit more fantasy than I would have liked. If you're into magical shit that just happens, a lot, then you'd probably like it. |
