| Cleaning LCD? I just bought a new laptop, and was just wondering if there is anything special I need to know.do before cleaning the screen. I just don't want to do anything that will leave a scratch or fuck it up in any way... so any help is appreciated. |

| I remember hearing somewhere that Windex is horrible for LCDs. Don't remember why, or where i heard that though. They accually make cleaners specificly for LCDs, I just use that and a tissue to clean mine.

| The amonia in Windex can cause problems with LCDs, at least acording to most manufacturers. You can pick up LCD cleaning spray/wipes at damn near any Wal-Mart/Staples/Best Buy type place and they cost about the same as Windex, so I usually recommend that stuff.

+15 Internets | Use NuShield if you're worried about messing up anything. If you don't want to do that and are actually good about cleaning, they sell anti-static and lint free cleaning thingies for monitors. I have one but it is shaped like a little stuffed pig, it is a duster, I assume you could purchase a box of wipes (usually 100 per box) - those are less gay. P.S. That Magic Eraser you see on TV removes crayon marks from anywhere. You should get one if you have a crayola-happy kid. If you happened to score a wife with the kid, ask her for a make-up application wedge (or make-up dohickey, as most girls call them) and you can use that on your monitor. |

Beat his ass? Take away his crayons for a while? Put him in a time out? What do you do to a 3 yr old to punish him? BTW, Hes since gave up on the crayon drawings all over the house. Hes got other more elaborate and ingenious ways to fuck shit up now.
