I never understood these things. I'm sure they are legit to some standard but, it seems you have to always be putting in credit card information and recieve some sort of charge to it, am I missing something?

Get a $20 loaded card and go to town. You have nothing to lose. I've completed an assload of offers and received a bunch of stuff from Gratis and the competing company without ever having to worry about losing more than $20.
