If high level runes are truly rare then it won't be as easy as that. You'll never be quite as good in your offspecs as you are in the spec you decided to spend your top tier runes in.

It doesn't really matter though because a big game like this could never be released today without a way to respec. No matter what system they used you were never going to be as locked in as you were in D2.

There are rumors that the new rune system will enable players to level up their runes instead of them dropping from the 4 different levels of difficulty. So once you get a rune, you equip it and the more you kill the more they gain in level. I'm not sure how true this is but again it is a rumor.

Here is another rumor regarding the rune system taken from DiabloInc.

I don't know if this has been posted previously but i found it quite interesting.

It is a modification that makes Diablo3 look sharper and darker. This change might be appealing to the players who aren't happy with the current Diablo3 color palette.

wow it looks very good with those filters ON .. cant believe the regular look is the real thing after seeing this.. it looks totally blurred and a lot of details gets lost

Yea, totally had to play with a slight sharpen filter and a small amount of extra saturation in Skyrim, I understand that some of it is artistic intent, but when that intent is that is is being geared to look good on TV sets 10 feet away, fuck that shit.

Guess I figured out why I haven't been getting an invite, my laptop is neither in the supported nor the unsupported list... guess it's too much for them to update their support list for any laptop GPUs released within the past 2 years? If anything I figured they'd want to be testing those cards more, but then again, maybe they just assume that the newer cards won't have any issues.

The real game doesn't look that blurry. Its just that the default screenshot output is compressed.

Used the "Diablo 1" settings, it's amazing how much better it is. Thanks for posting that.
