Cool, I am not even sure I need a sticky footer, in fact I think it may look weird if the person has a huge window size and the footer info like copyright 2009 shit is way at the bottom. Putting it just below the content I think would look fine.

yup

i have word in that one of the major components of the newest DOM will finally have robust height options. there's really no reason why it can't be defined like you can with width... pretty silly.


Also, rather than having a wobbly container that is perpetually scaling, you might want to try having fixed container sizes based on the size of the viewing pane of the browser.

Method: A Brand Experience Agency does this really well, where it actually adds and removes panes based on the size of the viewing area. This way you can simply set rules for specific viewing sizes and have the layout shift predictably.

Whoa whoa fixed just like I wanted. Check it out, it uses a border trick which is crazy.

so really the trick is using a background image more than the border. Your border is commented out in your code, besides ;P
