| Convert to older pdf? Hey this is stupid question probably, but when I Google it I get all these stupid products or not helpful articles where you have to log in and register just to read the article. If I have got acrobat pro, is there a way to save a document as an older version (1.4) in acrobat pro? Or if not within the app itself then using a free program or something?

+69 Internets | I am not sure how to save it as an older PDF format, but in Acrobat there is a way to save as a optimized PDF where you can choose the version of acrobat you want it to be compatible with, as seen below

+69 Internets | =D If you use Acrobat to save it "optimized" for a older version of Acrobat, the PDF version does then reflect 1.3, 1.4 or whatever. I just tried saving something as Acrobat 4.0 and later and it saved the PDF as a version 1.3.
