Exchange Problem

Hi. We're having an Exchange problem at work, and was wondering if anyone has experienced this. I'm not part of the email team but I'd look really cool if I figured it out.

I will use uberguilds terms to explain it as I do not know the proper terms and I'd rather not say specific internal company names etc..

Let's say that FOH is an organization underneath Uberguilds. You can send dark.millie@uberguilds.org an email and the server at uberguilds.org knows to pass that on to dark.millie@foh.uberguilds.org. You can send email straight to dark.millie@foh.uberguilds.org, but people don't want to, because they want uberguilds to appear uniform from the outside.

Anyways, I'm standing up a new guild under Uberguilds, we'll call it the Little Timmys, LT for short. So my new mailing addresses are joe.user@LT.uberguilds.org.

Now, problem arises when my users on LT.uberguilds.org send to foh.uberguilds.org. If they send to dark.millie@uberguilds.org, the entire message body gets blanked out. It still goes through with no errors. If they send to dark.millie@foh.uberguilds.org, it works every single time. This is only emails from LT, no other organization under uberguilds. It is 100% replicatable. However, it only affects one exchange server under foh.uberguilds.org (there are many).

So I'm trying to figure out what could possibly be going different for this one exchange server. The only thing I can see is it's using a different DC.

Any suggestions on where to look?

I've tried Plain text vs HTML vs RTF, that's not it.

Only thing that comes to mind is that the Database attached to that particular server did not recieve the correct replication of the LT guilds info that the other Exchange servers have.

Experts Exchange isn't free. They do have a free trial though. I don't know if you have to put in your CC info or not for the trial though.

That being said, if they already have this question answered and you want access to the solution, PM me the link and I'll get it for you.

I think Jedite was right. Will find out for sure on Monday.

A database cache folder was missing or something like that.
