| Tech question I have a Dell XPS system running XP pro. for a while now I notice that when I reset or turn off the system it goes thru "exiting, saving settings, then shutting down" it hangs up on the windows shutting down part. And I will have to hit the power switch manually. Would this be a registry problem? And if so would getting a registry repair program fix? Which one ? Any advise would be great, thank you ~H |

| You may also want to try http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Which also writes to the event log the actions it takes, if further troubleshooting needs to take place. |
