Perl/Java interaction

A quick question, Google doesn't help me much on this.

I want to pass parameters to a java program through a CGI script. That part is easy, no problem there. Then the java program will execute and provide the CGI script with information.

Do I have to do anything specific for this? Or just return the value at the end of the program?

Think you'll have to be a bit more specific than this.
But in either case, Runtime.getRuntime().exec(yourStuff); should be enough.

I figured it out, really easy solution.

@response = `java program.class $param1 $param2`;

That loads it into an array separated by println.
