+2 Internets | LMHOSTS File I have a very limited connection at work and find myself getting hung up on sites frequently that require accessing ad sites (google-analytics, doubleclick, etc), so I want to block traffic from them. After researching a bit, I think the best way to do that would be to add entries to the LMHOSTS file redirecting those domains to 127.0.0.1. 1) Is there any easier way to do this with Firefox? If not then... 2) What would the entry look like to do this? 127.0.0.1 localhost #PRE #DOM:yahoo.com is what I thought, but that's not working. |
