web hosting providers

I'm wondering if you recommend a decent web provider that allows for php and is decently price($20 or less priced). Are there any really bad ones to stay away from? Just getting into hosting for a hopefully decently sized site?

Any suggestions commends are appreciated.

Thanks.

phpwebhosting.com is good and cheap. I've heard they kicked Legacy of Steel out because they used too much bandwidth but I never had a problem with them.

Thanks for the quick responses. Appreciate the advice, now if only I could decide on one.

Ive used ipowerweb and 1and1 with good success.

Never had a problem with 1and1, and very few with ipowerweb. And ipowerweb's were resolved quickly and their tech support is very good (knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, etc).

I would highly recommend both.

Use BLueHost.

They allow SSh access to your account which is good for running patch scipts and avoiding that nasty shit ass Cpanel crap.
