What is blatsnarf.net? Every link I go to here seems to hit that page.

edit: nevermind - its the images on the box up top. Seems to be running slow and was lagging me =\

Yeah blatsnarf.net lags the hell out of me on my work computer when browsing the forums.

It'll sometimes produce the crazy stretch effect on images and text when I scroll down during the lag. Usually pressing the Stop button will resolve it.

It's the advertising. So blocking it will speed you up, though I'm sure the admins won't like that idea =)

Personally have had it blocked for a long time. It's just too slow many days and anything that slows down FSR loading is bad.com!

Does anyone know how to block a given site in Firefox? I'm all for supporting FoH, but not only do I end up as tops in bandwidth used for my company, #1 on that list for me is good old blatsnarf.net.

Open a DOS command window, type:
notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Put the following line in hosts:
127.0.0.1 Game Advertising Online
127.0.0.1 blatsnarf.net

File > Save.
