Idea: Embedded Chat Windows in Thread

Given that this forum has a high population of enormous threads rather than a lot of small ones, it'd be cool if the thread starter could embed a chat window in the topic.

This would be especially helpful in the election threads during debates when the thread basically turns into a crappy chat room.

The downside is that this would effectively create two mediums for discussion and some discussion would be lost. Additionally readers of the threads might be confused if someone references chat conversations.

I talked to Requiem about that, and if I remember correctly, he said the load on said embedded chat room would be quite too large given our increasingly large traffic.

If I'm mistaken I'm sure he will jump in and correct me~
