| Suggestion: Tech Forum What it is: A place for discussion of technology, DIY projects, consumer electronics, computers, formats and peripherals, A/V, etc. Why: To create a centralized location for tech and consumer electronics discussion (I think there's a great deal of overlap between MMO players, general gamers, and technophiles); to create a more appropriate place than the media forums for discussion of A/V equipment and peripherals; to relieve some of the congestion in General by making tech discussions easier to find and more accessible (versus having the same tech topics pop up every week in General in new threads); to give retired or inactive MMO gamers another big reason to hang out here. Potential Problems & Solutions: There might be some initial overlap between Tech and General, and/or between Tech and Product Reviews. But I think that, as people began to see the benefits of easier-to-find and more siloed tech/consumer electronics discussion in one spot, they'd see the value added in a dedicated forum. Furthermore, I think we'd see a dedicated tech forum really take off with the readership here. This is one of those forums that I think has the potential to expand the overall "market" of readers/topics rather than cannibilize "market share" from existing forums.

| could definately be useful. Definately emphasize DIY projects, like the person who did the MIMO machine, and the recent kegerator.
