I think overall the system is kind of silly and unnecessary, but hey I'll roll with it. However may I make one suggestion? Once a month or something the comments in people's profiles should be made non-anon, just to create a dramastorm. That is all.

Since you can only give one +/- to a person in a given amount of time (I believe that is the current way), how can there be much drama? Get your FoH board friends to Negastorm someone? Bitch in a thread about your -internets? That just invites more.

I think the system is awesome. Gives me more reason to not work or earn money, but to increase an arbitrary on the internet. Shit, they should add MORE numbers and stats, turn FoH forums into a MMO.

That would kind of require people to be so personally invested in what others say they've lost all perspective. It might be fun to see those couple of folks go ape-shit and start screaming "You stole my Cloudsong!", but I think "dramastorm" is a bit optimistic

I would think it'd be fun to see who voted the most, who had the least to contribute (ie: You're a dumbfuck x100 accounts), who was logging on old accounts for extra votes, etc... But that's a lot of work for Req.

Three months from now after the ability to +/- people had died off, I think this whole thing will be summed up with a picture of a cute cat saying, "Lolz I stolez your internetz!". Until then it's just a mild diversion, and by mild I mean boring. And by boring I mean I'm already sick of talking about it. Incoming -100 internets.

I dislike systems like this on boards like this. Mostly because after looking at my comments so far I have things like -

"All those associated with the plague that is Koster must perish."
"please stop posting. forever."

So basically I'll just ignore this system and not rate anyone, nor look at or give two shits about my own rating. =)

Edit: And, wait - people can see who I give rep to? "anyone that +1s Makata deserves a -1. Attention whore" -> I gave him a rep because I was testing the system, didn't even look at who I rated =P

Well, since I actively read and contribute to Makata's rating page, I believe the +internets you're referring to you actually /signed with your name. Otherwise, no, no one can see what rep you give out.
