So he asked how many of us masturbated, and this one dude who was pretty much a colossal fuckup right until the end raised his hand and said "I DID SIR!" like he was real proud. Our TI flipped out and was laughing his ass off, and then the dude adds, "IN YOUR STALL SIR!" and EVERYONE started laughing their ASS off, but the TI not so much.

You're scared, confused, not eating like you normally do, put into a harsh system shock, I dunno. Any and all of the above, I guess, but mostly the fear. You don't really have time to take a shit when it's not night time, and the first couple of nights you're too scared to get out of your bed, and after that you're too tired to get out of your bed. Going during the day is generally unacceptable due to rigid schedules, but after a few weeks I figured out a good time to go in the morning due to the dorm duty I got.

But most everyone takes at least a week to shit in Basic. I guarantee it.

I think it took me 3 or 4 days, but that was because it was quite hard getting over the whole looking at another dude in the stall across the way while trying to take a dump.

We had stall doors but were only allowed to use 2 stalls out of the 10 (i think) that they had. I don't remember how long it took, but I think it was about a week before I got around to shitting. I was on watch at night and just had the other guy on watch cover for me for a few minutes, it seemed like there was seriously no time.

I have been playing ARMA2 and Americas Army 3 and there is nothing in either of those about this "scared to shit" thing you guys keep going on about.

I'm pretty sure you all just made it up, because if it was real, I would have an Expert Certification in "Fearless Toilet Operations" at this point.

Stick to photoshop this lacked anything funny, to add to the whole no shitting thing I went normally due to not getting into basic right away we wait for almost 3 weeks before we actually started and all we did was formation three times a day and eat, it was thanksgiving one night and they gave us so much food including Lobster pretty sure everyone had to shit after that. I was excited to be doing anything besides nothing all day that first smoke session was welcome...not so much after that but felt good to exercise. Gained over 10 pounds in 3 weeks from just eating and sleeping.

There was a conversation about lack of morning wood though, no idea how it came up but someone asked if there was something in the food because he hasn't gotten hard in 2 weeks. I assumed being around nothing but dudes would of done it but yeah.
